Kerry qualified as an Occupational Therapist in 2001, initially working in a health setting before moving to social care. Kerry has experience of working with people with physical and mental health problems as well as complex disabilities and learning disabilities. Kerry moved to the South West in 2006 and joined an existing Supported Living provider, working as a manager.

Kerry is driven by the desire to help individuals in striving to achieve their best. Kerry’s experience as a therapist is evident in her work as she supports both service users and staff to continuously develop and attempt new things and achieve new levels.  Kerry is enthusiastic and motivated, committing both time and energy into her work.

Kerry works in a very open way, enjoying being part of a team and meeting challenges faced in this line of work head-on.  Kerry’s current role as support manager finds her involved in assessing individuals and setting up new support packages as well as leading and developing existing packages. Kerry believes in achieving quality in support through careful and detailed management and training of staff and more thorough professional relationships between managers and service users.
